We surely hope that you had a fruitful semester so far.

Last week we discussed the problem of life. The problem, according to the Bible, is our sinful nature: "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

This week we are going to take it one step further and have a discussion on the solution to the problem. This solution is regarding how we can be saved from the consequence of our sin. The solution is Jesus Christ, who has power on earth to forgive sins.

Last week we discussed the meaning of life, and this week we will take it one step further and talk about the problem of life.

So let’s face it: we all know that life is not trouble-free. But what’s the deepest and most significant problem with all human beings (including you and me)? According to the Bible, it’s our sinful nature: “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. Now, whether you agree with this statement or not, let’s get together and discuss how the Bible defines “sin” and why it’s the most serious problem with our life, as well as the biggest obstacle to our pursuit of happiness.
